Standard DNA samples (swabs from the inside of the cheek) can be stored in a regular paper envelope for up to six months. Do not place the standard sample in plastic or a closed container; it should «breathe» to prevent mold from developing.
Yes, it is possible. For DNA testing, the hair must include the root. This requires that the hair be plucked, not cut. We recommend pluck out minimum 5-10 hairs.
If taking a swab is not possible, non-standard samples can be used. This includes any biological material from a person (hair, nails, blood, saliva, mucus, cigarette butts, toothbrushes, etc.). When filling out the request for the DNA analysis, you can choose the method of receiving the genetic test results:

- By email address you provided in the analysis request.
- Via courier service throughout Georgia.
- If you have done a forensic DNA test, we can send the forensic genetic conclusion to the court’s address.
- If you require another method of receiving the results, you can specify it when filling out the form.
