How to do DNA fitness test
The process of taking DNA samples from participants is completely painless and takes about 4-6 minutes. Often, the DNA sample used for this genetic test is a buccal swab taken with a cotton swab (cheek epithelial cell collection), also known as a saliva test (standard DNA sample).
If it is not possible to take a standard sample, alternative samples can be used (non-standard). These include blood, paraffin blocks, cigarette butts, hair, various biological stains and fluids, nails, cutlery, and more. For a detailed list and descriptions click here.
